Army Corps of Engineers completes dredging Mattituck Inlet, replenishing beaches to the east

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NY District, in conjunction with the Town of Southold and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, announce the placement of nearly 100,000 cubic yards of sand replenishing severely eroded beaches to the east of Mattituck Inlet that will improve coastal-storm risk reduction.
