Philly District to make repairs on Chesapeake City Bridge
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Philadelphia District announced repair work on the Chesapeake City Bridge will begin late March 2019 and is expected to be completed by late June 2019.

Repair work to St. Georges Bridge nears completion
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Philadelphia District and its contractor Freyssinet, Inc. continue to make repairs to the St. Georges Bridge. Work includes replacement of 45 floor beam covers and more than 7,000 bolts and rivets on the underside of the structure, and replacement of all deck joint strip seals. Work is expected to be completed around the end of January.

Summit Bridge to close weekend of April 19
The Summit Bridge will be closed to traffic from Friday, April 19, at 10 p.m., to Monday, April 22, at 5 a.m., the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Philadelphia District announced today.
