U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New York District Assists in Helicopter Recovery Operations

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New York District’s Drift Collection Vessel Driftmaster and Survey Vessel Dobrin, recovered the helicopter involved in yesterday’s incident on the Hudson River.

On March 12, 2018, crews from the Army Corps' drift collection DRIFTMASTER participated in an operation to recover a downed helicopter that crashed into the East River on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
