Continuing resolution restarts closed Army Corps operations

Published Oct. 17, 2013

Due to the enactment of a continuing resolution, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operations that were shut down will restart as early as Thursday, Oct. 17. This includes the restarting of regulatory operations, which were closed Oct. 15 due to the lack of an appropriations bill.

With the exception of some campgrounds that have closed for the season, recreation areas managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers North Atlantic Division remain open and operational. Please contact your local district for more information on these sites.

All U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees are expected to return for work on their next regularly scheduled work day, which is Thursday, Oct. 17 for most employees, absent other instructions from their supervisors.
