Col. (Retired) Bryan Green (left) made remarks about serving with Lt. Col. Julie D'Annunzio (right) during her retirement ceremony held May 10, at the Fort Hamilton Community Club's Washington Room in Brooklyn, New York. D'Annunzio served in assignments of increasing responsibility until her most recent, final assignment as North Atlantic Division (NAD)'s Chief of Staff. Her career also included overseas assignments in Mosul, Iraq as the 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division's brigade engineer and in Korea as Green's deputy commander of the Far East District, Pacific Ocean Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers which he commanded.
