The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Marine Design Center designed and managed construction of a new hydrographic Survey Vessel for the Philadelphia District. The vessel was recently loaded onto a ship on the west coast and will be transported to Fort Mifflin in Philadelphia. It will be used to survey the federal channel of the Delaware River and Bay and the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.
