Generators are ready for deployment as part of FEMA's emergency temporary power mission in New York and New Jersey
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) works with its federal and state parters at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Nov. 5, to stage and prepare generators for deployment as part of FEMA's emergency temporary power mission in New York and New Jersey. USACE is actively helping to restore power in New York and New Jersey, and is providing emergency power for capacity beyond the state’s capabilities with more than 335 generators. Sixty-seven emergency generators have been installed.
