U.S. Army Corps of Engineers North Atlantic Division Commander Col. Kent D. Savre prepares to receive the division's flag at an Assumption of Command ceremony July 31 at the Fort Hamilton Community Club. From his Brooklyn headquarters, Savre will direct a 3,500-member workforce and a multi-billion annual program in civil works, military construction, and environmental restoration that spans 14 states throughout the Northeast as well as overseas in Europe and Africa.
