Ravi I. Ajodah was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in July 2024 and serves as the Regional Programs Director for the North Atlantic Division (NAD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Mr. Ajodah oversees the delivery of all military, civil works, environmental, interagency, and international programs throughout the northeastern United States, Europe and Africa. With a portfolio valued at nearly $6 billion and a team of more than 3,600 employees, NAD provides engineering and construction services to a range of federal, defense, state/local and international partners in more than 40 countries.
Previously, Mr. Ajodah served as the chief of the Interagency, International and Environmental Division at the North Atlantic Division, beginning in 2016 where he oversaw support to federal agencies, host nation partners, and geographic combatant commands. His portfolio included working with key stakeholders, including U.S. Africa Command, U.S. European Command, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), U.S. Department of State, Missile Defense Agency, Army Environmental Command, U.S. Department of Energy, National Cemetery Administration and Office of Army Cemeteries, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Mr. Ajodah also supported critical USACE operations, including the Superstorm Sandy Response, COVID-19 Alternate Care Facilities mission, and Operation Allies Welcome.
Mr. Ajodah began federal service in 2007 after a nine-year career with a small-business architectural/engineering firm. In his early federal career, he supported the U.S. Army in a variety of assignments. He first served as a base transition coordinator with the U.S. Army Reserve, 77th and 99th Regional Support Commands overseeing Base Realignment and Closures, Public Works, Environmental Compliance, Military Construction and Reserve Force Transformation. In 2009, Mr. Ajodah joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as an environmental program manager at the North Atlantic Division and later served as the regional environmental team lead. In 2015, he became the senior program manager for ballistic missile defense and the Arlington National Cemetery, serving additionally as the deputy chief of the Interagency, International and Environmental Division.
Mr. Ajodah was born and raised in New York City. He holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from St. John’s University and a master’s degree in environmental technology from the New York Institute of Technology.
