JENNINGS RANDOLPH LAKE, W.V. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Jennings Randolph Lake announces their 19th Annual National Public Lands Day celebration where the staff at Jennings Randolph Lake with the Boy Scouts of America and the Friends of Jennings Randolph Lake will clean-up the shoreline along the North Branch of the Potomac River in Barnum, West Virginia on Saturday, September 29, 2012. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. until completion.

All volunteers will meet in the parking lot in Barnum near the restrooms. A barbeque will be held at the large group shelter in the Robert W. Craig campground following the event. Refreshments will be available during the cleanup in Barnum for all volunteers. Due to the rocky shoreline, wearing of proper footwear and appropriate clothing is recommended. Gloves and trash bags will be provided.
