USACE Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton to open for recreation season May 28

 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District announced today that Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton, New Hampshire, will open for the season on May 28, 2022.

Amenities at the USACE owned and operated recreation area include picnic tables and grills, playground equipment, horseshoe pits, a swim beach, a short nature trail, a boat ramp, and four picnic shelters which can be reserved in advance for a fee. Picnic shelter reservations can be made by calling the National Recreation Reservation Service toll free at (877) 444-6777 or online at www.recreation.gov.

Elm Brook Park, located off Route 127 in Hopkinton, will be open for recreation May 28 until Sept. 5, 2022. Park hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and pets are not allowed in the park. The day use fee for visitors is $5 per car and $40 for an annual pass. America the Beautiful National Park Passes are accepted and available for purchase on site.

Interpretive programs are provided by uniformed Park Rangers and interpretive exhibits are located in the Ranger Station.
