Julie D'Annunzio (right) at her retirement ceremony held May 10, at the Fort Hamilton Community Club's Washington Room in Brooklyn, New York. The ceremony provided an end point on a 23-year career with the U.S. Army and its Corps of Engineers. Former military colleagues, college friends and members of the Corps' North Atlantic Division (NAD) filled the room and gave her a standing ovation at the conclusion of her remarks.
